linger

just in a blink of an eye, the dream week came and went. it was tiring, sometimes annoying, and maybe frustrating, but i loved every single second of it. for one week, i didn't have to go anywhere by myself. for one week, i had someone beside me. for one week, i had someone to share my life with. i miss already. your smell still lingers..

torn between Scylla and Charybdis. heard of this before? it comes from Greek mythology, famously mentioned from Jason and the Argonauts. speaks of how one is caught between two dangers and moving away from one would bring you closer to another :S

Sail too close to Scylla and get munched by her, but sail too close to Charybdis and get drowned. lovely decision to make innit? :D

choices..

all of a sudden, i miss everyone. i wanna go back soon, but i also know the next month here will be awesome. decisions, decisions. hahha

but then again..

the mind's clouded with so many things i wanna say, but i just can't put them to words. its been a bizarre time here in Aussie. sometimes, i think my time here's too short, and how i'd love to spend more time here. it just seems like there's so much to do here. heh. hunting, skiing, beaches and stuff. friends, freedom, fun.

but then.. sometimes you're here and you miss so many important events back home. friends' birthdays and celebrations. or even simpler things like a weekly kickabout. bah. as much as i like it here now, i wish i could just fly back just for this one weekend. =/ wish i was back home now with you.. but then again..

quick update

what a week! phew! went to Mildura, which was a 6 hour drive away from Melbourne, reached back on Sat morning at 6am :O and went to the city later that evening. which was good fun and nice weekend :D

went to Crown. hahah.lost about 40 dollars there =/ but.. oh well.. then went for dimsum yesterday morning at the really famous shark fin house. expensive weekend eh? :O but was all good le..

back to work today in Melbourne and i've got a few countdowns going on. 3more weeks till i quit, 1 week till my bro comes over, and about 6 weeks till Nell comes down :D i think its also gonna be another 5 before mum comes, so i've got lots to look forward to in Oct :D
